Kwa wageni wa Kiswahili, limbwata ni neno linalotumiwa kumaanisha uganga wa jadi wa kumfanya mtu awe mtekelezaji wa matakwa ya mtu mwingine, hasa hutumiwa kuelezea mahusiano ya unyumba. Neno hili ni la kinadharia tu, na watu wengi waliopata mwanga (wa elimu) hawaamini kama ni jambo la kweli. Ila hutumiwa mara nyingi na makundi mahsusi (peer groups) kumshawishi mwenzao akubaliane nao katika mawazo na matendo yao na asibakie kuwa karibu na mwenza wake.
